Committed to Enriching the Lives of Youth

Organization "DEVELOPMENT CENTER OF VOJVODINA" (RCV) is a voluntary, non-governmental, non-political and non-profit organization, established for an indefinite period, in order to achieve goals in the fields of youth work, culture, art, sports, social issues, agriculture, as well as education and ecology - environmental protection.

RCV was established to ensure the exchange of students, exchange of youth, education of citizens, education of women, gender equality, environmental protection, promotion of European values, etc. One of our biggest challenges is to promote youth work and volunteerism to rural areas, include them in international projects and enrich their life perspective, opportunities and integrate our youth as much as we can in the European progress flow of youth and leaders. Organizing a larger number of youth is one of the results and future aims as to include more people in everyday life of our municipality and give them proper educational and professional background with which they can become noticeable labor force and leaders who will make changes on the local, regional and national level.

Besides these two main objectives, the third pillar of our organization is regional ecological status and subtopic of that represents a healthy lifestyle. We are involved in all projects that are run by our community regarding environmental protection and raising awareness about burning global and local ecological issues. Since Serbia is still not progressed enough to pay high remarks to ecological problems, we took on our selves’ task to inform youth and educate them about their environment and in this way improve their views. In this way we also provide them good practices about healthy lifestyles since there is a strong link between ecology, taking care of the environment and taking care of your body in that process also because you become more self-aware.

The goals of the association are:

• "Getting acquainted with the general public with an alternative way of expressing young people and approaching fewer present ways of thinking, learning, and acting.

• "Combating all forms of discrimination and marginalization with the aim of contributing to the development of the local community and social openness - social issues.

• "Detection of talents and encouraging creativity among young people, and the creation of an environment that would contribute to their emphasis in the areas of their interests, with the goal of each individual to find his place in society.

• "Encouraging young people to personally engage in public activities and awakening the driving spirit.

• "Promoting and spreading awareness about the importance of knowledge of culture and art, tradition and modernization, the importance of a healthy environment and ecology - environmental protection, development of the economy and agriculture.

• "Mapping the city of Irig on the cultural and artistic map of Serbia as one of the main provincial centers, with a rich scene full of young local artists in the company of already well-established names from the world of culture.

The Association will achieve the stated goals through the following activities:

• "Organizing seminars and educational content forums.

• "Organizing cultural-artistic, educational and sporting events, through festival activities (concerts, exhibitions, murals painting, extreme sports competitions).

• "Working with children and young people through creative workshops, schools in nature and sections of educational content.

• "Implementing projects of public importance, through active participation of young people, according to the principles of social responsibility, representing peace and non-violence, equality, the right to diversity, the right to a healthy environment, solidarity and social inclusion in action and decision-making.

• "Affirmation and promotion of young local artists through organization and realization of publishing activity, the printing of posters and newsletters, publishing fanzines, internet publications.

• "Promote volunteerism, especially in the field of environmental protection, and create a better-quality environment in which future generations will find a way to contribute to their environment.

• "Cooperation of the Association with city institutions and other associations that share the same values ​​and spheres of interest as" DEVELOPMENT CENTER OF VOJVODINA ".
